Internal Repair Technician – Medical Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Repair Technician to join our Community Care Services team in Rathcoole. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of medical equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation for our patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and patient lifting devices.
• Diagnose faults on 12V–24V DC equipment using a multi‑meter.
• Organise and manage service and repair throughput, including monitoring outstanding call lists.
• Update the IT service and repair system and requisition spare parts with the procurement team.
• Maintain personal spare‑part stock and attend required training courses.
• Ensure compliance with company, EHS, and regulatory requirements, and complete all paperwork accurately.

Required profile

• Full, clean driving licence.
• Previous experience in a similar service‑oriented role.
• Basic understanding of DC current and fault finding.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong customer focus.
