International Product & Sales Manager – Fine Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking an International Product & Sales Manager to lead product management and commercial development for a specialty chemicals business serving the pharmaceutical manufacturing and CDMO sectors. The position is hybrid, based in the Republic of Ireland, and involves working with customers, suppliers and internal teams across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of specialty solvents, intermediates and process chemicals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, principals and strategic partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within pharmaceutical manufacturing and CDMO accounts.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and support account growth initiatives.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Support pricing strategy, forecasting and budget planning.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical and operational teams across multiple countries.
• Attend customer meetings, supplier meetings, industry events and exhibitions throughout Ireland and Europe.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business or a related discipline.
• Commercial experience in pharmaceutical synthesis, specialty chemicals, solvents, intermediates or process chemicals.
• Experience in product management, sales, business development or supplier management.
• Strong commercial awareness and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally across Europe.
