IT Helpdesk Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our West Dublin team on a permanent basis. You will deliver first‑ and second‑level support for a Microsoft 365 user base, working both remotely and on‑site to ensure smooth operation of desktops, laptops and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Support end users across Windows, macOS, iOS and virtual desktop environments.
• Troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as user creation, password resets and group management.
• Provide deskside on‑site support.
• Assist senior engineers with IT project implementation and deployments.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an L1/L2 IT Support or Service Desk environment.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Exposure to virtual desktop environments (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMware Horizon).
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Own transport is an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications are beneficial but not essential.
