IT Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated IT professional to provide onsite Level 2 support for manufacturing and R&D environments. You will work closely with IT Business Partners and Global IT teams to keep systems secure, efficient, and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 support for desktops, operating systems, antivirus, and manufacturing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents, documenting solutions.
• Assist with the integration of shop‑floor and machine‑level systems following Industry 4.0 guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Advanced Operations, and R&D teams.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and shift‑left initiatives.
• Maintain IT security compliance (patching, antivirus, firewall).
• Participate in global IT projects and enterprise system roll‑outs.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in manufacturing or R&D.
• ITIL Foundation certification (required).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
