IT Support Analyst – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking an Information Technology Support Analyst to join a leading Dublin-based organisation. The role is permanent and based on-site in the city centre, offering the chance to work within an established IT team and support a diverse user base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software and cloud-service issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with the setup, configuration and ongoing maintenance of end-user devices, including phones.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (ITAM) and track issue tickets to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to log, escalate and resolve tickets efficiently.
• Contribute to IT projects such as software deployments, hardware upgrades and system migrations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a technical support or help-desk role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Proactive problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Team player who can work independently when required.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD, including security group and permission management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Office 365 issues and software installations.
• Experience managing IT asset inventories (ITAM) and handling access requests.
