IT Support Colleague

About the role

As an IT Support Colleague you will be the first‑line technical resource at our Newbridge depot, ensuring that all IT infrastructure, networks and hardware run smoothly to support warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line on‑site support, promptly responding to and escalating technical issues.
• Perform basic connectivity checks, troubleshoot hardware and software faults, and document escalation details.
• Manage and update support tickets, ensuring accurate records and timely follow‑up.
• Liaise with third‑party suppliers and service providers to coordinate resolutions.
• Administer user access in WMS systems, handling account creation, modification and removal.
• Carry out repairs and routine inspections of servers, network equipment, kiosks and end‑user devices.
• Act as the on‑site point of contact for all IT‑related matters to maintain operational continuity.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage priorities.
• Basic understanding of warehouse/distribution centre operations.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Basic LAN, Wi‑Fi and cabling knowledge, including switch port configuration.
• Troubleshooting of Windows devices and end‑user hardware.
• Familiarity with Android‑based Zebra devices.
• Experience with ticket‑management systems.
• Knowledge of WMS/WCS platforms and reporting tools.
