IT Support Technician – On‑Site (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Dublin office on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves delivering on‑site technical assistance to employees, ensuring that hardware, software and networking equipment are operational and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site IT support and coverage at the Dublin office during standard business hours.
• Carry out hardware handovers to end users and manage asset movements, storage and lockers.
• Perform network patching, LAN and AV cabling, and support meeting‑room technology.
• Patch systems, rebuild PCs using standard Windows images and conduct inventory checks of laptops, peripherals and other assets.
• Handle logistics and shipments, including sending/receiving equipment for remote users and receiving supplier deliveries.
• Respond to on‑demand requests with a next‑business‑day SLA.

Required profile

• Good understanding of IT fundamentals, especially network patching, Windows OS installation and AV technologies.
• Strong organisational and asset‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and react to ad‑hoc support requests.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
