Java Software Developer – Hybrid (Dublin/Letterkenny)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java (or Python) Software Developer to join a high‑impact healthcare technology team in Ireland. The role is hybrid, based in Dublin or Letterkenny, and starts immediately on a long‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable cloud‑native applications and micro‑services.
• Build and manage API integrations and distributed systems.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform on Azure.
• Implement secure development practices, including authentication, authorization and secrets management.
• Provide production support, monitoring and observability for enterprise‑scale platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Java and/or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Proven ability to work in regulated, enterprise environments, preferably healthcare.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
