About the role
We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Department in Dublin on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on Accounts Payable and includes practice management and general office duties, with full training on our finance systems.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices, perform cost‑centre analysis and data entry.
- Assist in preparing vendor payments and reconcile vendor accounts.
- Support practice management by analysing client outlays and disbursements.
- Review staff expense claims and prepare general‑ledger journal entries.
- Handle general filing, post and other office tasks.
Required profile
- Strong IT proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
- Proactive problem‑solving attitude and high level of discretion.
- Good time‑management and self‑motivation.
- Some exposure to an accounts‑payable environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
