Junior Data Analyst – Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join a growing Data Analytics team within a leading global financial services organisation. The role is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid model, offering a 12‑month contract with a daily rate. You will work on data quality, analytics and continuous improvement initiatives that support critical security reference data.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to support the quality, accuracy, and integrity of business‑critical reference data.
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor data quality, detect anomalies, trends and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to resolve data‑related challenges.
• Support data management and governance initiatives across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and analytical outputs for decision‑making.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation projects.
• Participate in analytical, operational and project‑based initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst, data management or similar analytical role, or recent graduate with relevant internships or project experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
