Procurement Specialist / Oracle Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to join our client on a contract basis. Our client is a recognised organisation within the utilities industry across Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership on PO management across the Oracle database.
• Maintain Oracle database systems.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Manage database backups and recovery.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards are met.
• Maintain documentation of database configurations and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience within Oracle.
• Strong communication skills.
• IT literate, written and numerical.
• Strong attention to detail.
