Junior Full Stack Developer

About the role

Propylon, the Dublin‑based content‑management arm of the RWS group, is looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to help expand its core product offering and contribute to major client projects. You will work alongside senior engineers to design, build, and improve modern web applications that support legal and regulatory workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads to design and implement new application features.
• Develop both backend and frontend components across the platform.
• Support product architecture enhancements and technical improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions to adopt engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance and reliability.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality product features.

Required profile

• Good understanding of Python and core programming concepts.
• Professional or project experience with a Python web framework, preferably Django.
• Familiarity with SQL‑based relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs and web service communication.
• Exposure to modern Python features like type hinting, async programming, or data classes.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Basic knowledge of Docker or containerisation concepts.
