Junior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our leading mechanical contracting team. The role will support the delivery of large‑scale mechanical installations in Dublin and occasional projects across Europe, working closely with senior engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submittals to ensure compliance.
• Support design development and provide solutions to engineering queries.
• Assist with procurement activities, equipment selection and material approvals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate installation work.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in building services or construction.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, piping and mechanical installations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using BIM tools, specifically Revit and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and piping design.
