Junior Project Manager – Environmental & Compliance Projects

About the role

The Junior Project Manager will support the delivery of environmental and compliance projects across Ireland, from client engagement through to implementation and close‑out. Working under senior guidance, you will coordinate activities, communicate with stakeholders and ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scope, developing plans and setting realistic timelines.
• Monitor progress against milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, maintaining clear communication.
• Coordinate internal resources and oversee task execution.
• Identify risks, support mitigation strategies and help resolve issues.
• Prepare project updates and progress reports.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory, environmental and client standards.
• Support project close‑out procedures and documentation.
• Travel across Ireland for site visits, field work and client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, environmental services or compliance (placements considered).
• Background in the pharmaceutical sector is highly desirable.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Based in the Ulster region with a full clean Irish driving licence.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with project management software.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
