Knowledge Lawyer – Finance & Capital Markets

About the role

The Finance & Capital Markets team of an international law firm in Dublin is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer. You will work closely with partners to develop, maintain and disseminate legal resources that support the department’s banking, debt capital markets, finance and related practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies for creating and updating precedents, know‑how documents and internal guidance.
• Deliver training sessions and research support for lawyers across the finance and capital markets spectrum.
• Produce client‑facing guidance and opinions, ensuring consistency with the firm’s knowledge assets.
• Collaborate with partners to identify knowledge gaps and drive continuous improvement of the department’s resource library.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in Ireland or the UK with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a leading law firm within banking, finance, debt capital markets, private credit, fund finance, real estate finance, securitisation or structured credit.
• Strong understanding of knowledge management processes in a legal environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
