Lab IT Administrator

About the role

The Lab IT Administrator provides end‑to‑end technical support for GxP‑controlled laboratory environments. Working closely with the Lab COE, local DMO team and Site IT, the role ensures that laboratory equipment, servers, desktops and software operate reliably and remain compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on support and issue resolution for laboratory equipment, servers, desktops and software.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems involving software, operating systems, hardware, network interfaces and scientific instruments.
• Perform routine system administration, user‑management, backup creation and security monitoring.
• Author and maintain validation, qualification and testing documentation (e.g., Validation Plans, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, Trace Matrices).
• Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 and data‑integrity standards.
• Collaborate with CSV Lead, System Integrator, Site IT and operational readiness teams.
• Support internal and agency inspections and act as subject‑matter expert for lab IT issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital/IT environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• At least 3 years of experience in a GxP‑regulated laboratory setting.
• Hands‑on experience with validation, qualification and lifecycle documentation for pharmaceutical QC lab COTS systems.
