Lead Cyber Engineering Manager

About the role

The Lead Cyber Engineering Manager will head the cyber security engineering department of a globally recognised Irish multinational. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that all development practices meet the highest security standards while driving strategic initiatives that enhance the organisation's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the cyber engineering team across multiple domains.
• Define and enforce secure development lifecycles and compliance frameworks.
• Lead high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑moving, global environment.
• Develop and execute strategic security initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security controls into cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and application layers.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in cyber security engineering.
• At least 5 years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of delivering secure solutions at enterprise scale.
