Legal Counsel – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join SoSafe on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support our rapid expansion across Europe by providing commercial, privacy and AI‑related legal advice to headquarters and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders on customer‑facing transactions, product development, privacy and AI‑related matters.
• Draft, negotiate and maintain contracts and templates, creating efficient processes for deal closure.
• Provide strategic guidance on privacy compliance and implement legally sound AI usage processes.
• Identify legal risks in cross‑functional projects and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Act as a trusted legal partner to enable SoSafe’s growth in Europe and globally.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a commercial lawyer or in‑house counsel within SaaS or technology.
• Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or another relevant European jurisdiction.
• Strong focus on commercial and regulatory law across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Highly organized, independent and adaptable to change.
