Legal Counsel (In-House Generalist)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified solicitor to join the expanding in‑house legal team of an international engineering and infrastructure group. The role offers the chance to work on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts across the business.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal and commercial advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support the HR team on employment law issues and liaise with external advisers.
• Assist with corporate governance, compliance initiatives and policy development.
• Manage dispute resolution and litigation matters.
• Advise on GDPR and data‑protection requirements.
• Contribute to risk‑management and training projects.

Required profile

• Irish‑qualified solicitor with 2–5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong legal training obtained at a reputable law firm.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and eager to build relationships across the organisation.
• Experience in any of the following areas is welcomed: corporate/commercial, commercial litigation, commercial property, etc.
