Liaison Nurse (CNM II) – Part‑time

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Liaison Nurse (CNM II) to join its Children’s Disability Network Team in Bettystown. The role is part‑time (0.50 WTE) and focuses on delivering nursing services to children and young people (0‑18 years) with complex disabilities and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention and clinical supervision across clinics, schools, preschools, children’s homes and community settings.
• Develop and maintain a family‑centred nursing service within an interdisciplinary framework.
• Contribute to ongoing service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (or eligible for registration).
• Minimum 5 years post‑registration experience, including at least 2 years in a related specialty.
• Demonstrated clinical, managerial and administrative competence.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and annual registration maintenance.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and intervention for children with complex needs.
• Case management and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Knowledge of disability services and family‑centred care models.
