Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and self‑motivated Linux Systems Administrator to join our IT team. You will manage Red Hat/Fedora and Ubuntu servers in self‑hosted environments, ensuring they remain secure, stable, and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Linux servers (Red Hat/Fedora and Ubuntu) in self‑hosted environments.
• Handle BAU tickets and user requests on a daily basis.
• Maintain OS and application patching, monitor services, and troubleshoot performance issues using systemd, cgroups, SNMP, SMTP, etc.
• Create and maintain Bash automation scripts.
• Manage SSL/TLS configurations, including certificate installation and renewal.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications with Docker.
• Configure and optimise Apache and Nginx web servers.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat/Fedora and Ubuntu Linux systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
