Locum Consultant Paediatrician

About the role
The Cork University Hospital is seeking a qualified paediatrician to join the team on a locum basis. This is a full‑time, 37‑hour per week position on a POCC Consultant Contract, required to start immediately. Candidates with experience in paediatric adolescent medicine and eating disorders are especially encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultant‑level paediatric care to in‑patients and out‑patients as needed.
- Cover locum shifts ensuring continuity of service across the department.
- Participate in specialised clinics, including adolescent medicine and eating‑disorder services where experience is available.
Required profile
- Registered consultant paediatrician eligible to practice in Ireland.
- Ability to commence work immediately.
- Experience in paediatric adolescent medicine and eating disorders is desirable but not mandatory.
