Maintenance Electrician – Industrial Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are partnering with a leading food manufacturing client in Roscommon to strengthen their on‑site electrical maintenance team. As a Maintenance Electrician you will ensure that production equipment runs efficiently, minimizing downtime through proactive and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of industrial electrical equipment.
• Install, calibrate and test instrumentation and control devices.
• Commission new electrical circuits and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Accurately record all maintenance activities in the company’s maintenance management system.
• Participate in project work and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Right to work in Ireland (EU/Irish citizenship or Stamp 4).
• Proven industrial electrical experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Qualified to work as an electrical maintenance technician in Ireland.
• Residence in or near Roscommon county.

Required skills

• Industrial electrical maintenance.
• Instrumentation equipment testing and calibration.
• Electrical circuit commissioning.
• Use of a maintenance management system for logging work.
