Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering team at Almac Pharma Services in Dundalk. The role involves planning, executing and completing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on plant and production equipment, while ensuring efficiency and strict compliance with cGMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform unplanned repairs to minimise downtime.
• Install new production equipment and integrate it into existing lines.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work meets cGMP requirements.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to schedule work within defined time windows.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland or a valid work permit.
• Advanced Certificate Craft (Level 6) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Post‑qualification experience in industrial maintenance, including equipment installation and both planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in all tasks.
