Maintenance Fitter – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our automotive manufacturing team. You will support the maintenance crew in repairing, maintaining and installing a wide range of machinery across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the repair, maintenance and installation of large hydraulic and mechanical power presses.
• Support automated production and assembly cells, multi‑axis CNC milling machines, manual toolroom equipment and overhead gantry cranes.
• Maintain ancillary factory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Craft certificate in Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting.
• Experience with industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems (essential).
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and interpret CAD/machine drawings.
• Strong safety awareness, good attendance and reliability.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and proficient computer skills.
