Maintenance Planner / Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner/Reliability Engineer to join our site‑based maintenance team. The role blends hands‑on maintenance planning with deep SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) expertise, focusing on improving work‑order quality, backlog health, and overall equipment availability in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage high‑quality maintenance work orders and plans in SAP PM.
• Improve SAP PM work‑order quality, reducing duplication and low‑value requests.
• Collaborate with operations to align equipment availability with maintenance scheduling.
• Analyse equipment history to identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives related to planning and reliability.
• Spend time in the field to understand equipment issues and validate work scopes.
• Engage with plant functions to ensure planning reflects real equipment condition and operating context.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance module).
• Practical understanding of plant maintenance and equipment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multiple functions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
