Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at PCI in Stamullen, County Meath. The role is permanent, full‑time and based on‑site, supporting the production of life‑changing biopharma therapies. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, performing change‑overs, and maintaining compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute machine change‑overs, address stoppages and breakdowns promptly to meet production targets.
• Carry out planned routine maintenance and maintain schedules for all equipment and plant.
• Perform expert‑level fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Program PLCs and contribute to technically involved projects that improve or create new processes.
• Design, develop and implement equipment improvements within GMP guidelines.
• Create and manage MOCs through the QMS and conduct design of experiments to optimise processes.
• Lead A3 problem‑solving activities, root‑cause analysis and equipment redesign projects.
• Maintain clean, tidy and secure maintenance areas and ensure safe work practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to work flexibly on breakdowns and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and documentation.
