Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a permanent Maintenance Technician to join our Dundalk site on a night‑shift schedule (Thursday‑Saturday, 12‑hour shifts). The role supports the production line of a biopharma supply chain, ensuring equipment is reliable, safe and compliant with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform machine change‑overs, address stoppages and breakdowns promptly to meet production targets.
• Carry out planned routine maintenance and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for all plant equipment.
• Conduct expert‑level fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC programming.
• Design, develop and implement equipment improvements and new processes, creating MOCs and managing them through the QMS.
• Lead A3 problem‑solving activities, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and secure maintenance area and ensure safe work practices at all times.
• Document all maintenance actions, tooling logs, set‑up sheets and PPM records accurately.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to identify and implement process enhancements.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a GMP environment.
• Ability to work night shifts (Thursday‑Saturday, 7 pm‑7 am).
• Strong focus on safety and compliance with EHS and quality standards.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
