Manager, EUCAN Controllership

About the role

BioMarin, a leading rare‑disease biotechnology company, is seeking a Manager, EUCAN Controllership to join its General & Administrative finance team in Dublin. This hybrid role (minimum two days on‑site) will oversee controllership functions across the Europe‑and‑Canada region, supporting the company’s mission to deliver innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial controllership activities for the EUCAN region, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
• Prepare and review periodic financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with business units, legal, tax and audit teams to support audits and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and internal controls across the region.
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Significant experience in controllership, financial reporting or finance management, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders.
