Manager, R&D Data Office

About the role

The Manager, Research & Development Data Office will lead the implementation of data governance initiatives within the MedTech R&D Data Office. You will shape the R&D data dictionary, establish a data quality framework, and drive change management across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and rollout of the R&D Data Dictionary.
• Identify data owners, define attribute standards, and secure stakeholder approval.
• Form and manage a data steward community for ongoing coordination and issue escalation.
• Maintain and enhance business metadata and data catalog entries to improve discoverability.
• Build and implement an R&D Data Quality Management Framework.
• Lead a coherent Change Management Program with R&D stakeholders.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into measurable delivery plans.

Required profile

• Strong cross‑functional leadership experience.
• Practical experience in metadata management and data governance.
• Ability to work with regulatory and business requirements.
• Experience managing change initiatives across multiple business units.
