Manufacturing Operator

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator will carry out a variety of electronic, mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly tasks on products and sub‑assemblies within Abbott's Vascular Division in Clonmel. You will work on both automatic and semi‑automatic equipment, ensuring high‑quality output while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electronic, mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies.
• Set up, operate and monitor automatic or semi‑automatic machines.
• Place labels on packages and attach data sheets to products.
• Assemble, repair, inspect and test products according to written instructions.
• Maintain compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures.

• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and work‑related documents written in English.
• Commitment to follow safety, quality and compliance standards.
