Manufacturing Process Engineer – Cork

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations and material supply activities in our Cork facility. The role is ideal for recent graduates with placement experience or professionals with industry background who thrive in a regulated, fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support material supply investigations and troubleshooting within manufacturing.
• Manage and track records and change controls for materials and processes.
• Evaluate shelf‑life extensions for single‑use consumables and assist qualification activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Technical Operations and external vendors to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Lead investigations related to material concerns and champion continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS and site procedures, and maintain documentation according to Good Documentation Practices.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams and provide training support where required.

Required profile

• Degree (Level 8 or higher) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science or Engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high standards.
