Mechanical Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Director to provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of hyperscale data‑centre projects across Europe. You will guide mechanical delivery from pre‑construction through commissioning, ensuring quality, programme and commercial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for mechanical delivery on multiple hyperscale data‑centre sites.
• Oversee the full mechanical scope from pre‑construction to commissioning across concurrent projects.
• Lead senior project teams, driving technical excellence and consistent delivery.
• Manage key client relationships as the senior mechanical point of contact.
• Monitor programme, quality and commercial performance across the portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
• Represent the business at senior level with clients, consultants and delivery partners.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Mechanical Director, Operations Manager or Project Director in mission‑critical construction.
• Extensive experience delivering hyperscale or large‑scale data‑centre projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects at senior level.
• Strong client relationship management skills with senior‑stakeholder credibility.
• Willingness to travel and operate across several European markets.
• Demonstrated strong leadership abilities.
