Mechanical Site Manager – Dundrum

About the role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day mechanical installation activities on a flagship 250‑unit residential development in Dundrum. You will ensure that all works are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all mechanical installation works from first fix through commissioning.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and apprentices.
• Plan labour resources and daily site activities.
• Oversee material procurement and deliveries.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, design team and main contractor.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings.
• Monitor programme, productivity and quality.
• Resolve technical and site‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Plumbing or Pipefitting.
• 10+ years experience delivering mechanical building services projects.
• Previous role as Mechanical Site Manager, Supervisor, Foreman or Chargehand.
• Experience on large‑scale residential, commercial or industrial developments.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Capability to manage subcontractors, labour and site programmes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
