Mechanical Site Manager

About the role

Quinn Downes Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on construction projects across Ireland and internationally. You will be responsible for coordinating all on‑site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress from handover through commissioning and project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Attend project handover meetings and develop QEHS documentation.
• Set up and maintain the site office, stores, and signage.
• Coordinate mechanical services and builder work drawings.
• Issue bi‑weekly P&T HILTI reports and maintain the master requisition schedule.
• Order materials, track deliveries, and liaise with suppliers.
• Assist payroll with timesheet queries.
• Manage sub‑contractors and direct staff on safety, quality, and installation coordination.
• Support Project Engineers in delivering quality‑assured documents at milestones.
• Attend site and white‑board meetings with the main contractor.
• Assist the Contracts Manager in creating the programme of works.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and project close‑down activities.

Required profile

• Previous site management experience in the HVAC industry.
• Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Full driver’s licence.
