National Account Manager - Supermarkets

About the role

The National Account Manager – Supermarkets will own the growth of our supermarket channel in Ireland. You will develop and execute strategic account plans, manage key relationships and drive revenue, volume and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the growth of the supermarket channel by creating and delivering high‑impact account plans for key customers.
• Own commercial targets across revenue, volume, trading contribution, margin and price.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and promotional agreements to maximise ROI.
• Identify and unlock growth opportunities that increase market share while delivering customer value.
• Take full ownership of forecasting, ensuring accuracy and clear visibility.
• Manage trade spend and pricing, continuously seeking cost‑to‑serve efficiencies.
• Develop insight‑led promotional strategies in partnership with Trade Marketing and Insights teams.
• Shape the in‑store product portfolio by optimising core ranges and securing new listings.
• Leverage systems and data (e.g., Siebel, BW) to drive decision‑making and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Key Account Manager.
• Thorough knowledge of the drinks/beverage industry, its products, channels and competition.
• Strong financial acumen and proven negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
