Network Security Engineer

About the role

SiriusXM’s Enterprise Network & Security team in Dublin is looking for a Network Security Engineer to strengthen the company’s global security posture. You will design, implement and manage next‑generation firewalls, load balancers and other security platforms across enterprise, broadcast and data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage enterprise firewalls, load balancers and related network security platforms.
• Monitor, optimise and automate security controls across enterprise, broadcast and data‑center networks.
• Triage, diagnose and resolve incidents related to firewalls, load balancers and VPNs.
• Ensure compliance with InfoSec requirements and industry‑standard security frameworks.
• Drive “security as code” initiatives to standardise firewall and policy management.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, broadcast engineering and infrastructure teams to enforce policies and address new requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for security standards, policies and operational procedures.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise to cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for operational network and security support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise network security environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities.
