Nurse Advisor – Education & Clinical Support

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Advisor to deliver high‑quality education and training to healthcare prescribers, their teams, patients, and caregivers across Cork, Tipperary and Limerick. This field‑based, permanent part‑time position offers an excellent entry point for registered nurses who want to develop expertise in clinical education, support, and mentoring.

Key responsibilities

• Provide education and training to healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers in line with programme objectives.
• Implement programme processes at healthcare sites and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate programme aims clearly to local stakeholders and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Deliver tailored patient training when required and mentor less‑experienced Nurse Advisors.
• Complete mandatory Adverse Event and Product Complaint training and report occurrences as required.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year post‑registration experience (or equivalent education/training).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in a similar or related role.
• Right to work in Ireland.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of clinical principles and concepts relevant to the assigned disease area.
• Strong organisational ability to manage own workload effectively.
• Confident communicator able to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating as a team member.
