Onboarding Advisor – French Market

About the role

As an Onboarding Advisor for the French market, you will partner with eBay Business Development teams to help high‑potential merchants launch and grow their businesses on the platform. You will guide sellers through every step of the onboarding journey, from account creation to their first verified gross merchandise value (GMV), ensuring a smooth and successful start.

Key responsibilities

• Lead merchants through a structured onboarding process, covering account setup, product listing, and first‑sale milestones.
• Manage activation pipelines, track onboarding milestones and contribute to activation‑target and velocity metrics.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and compliance barriers that could impede merchant growth.
• Document interactions and progress using eBay’s internal systems and tools.
• Provide consultative advice on marketplace growth strategies, cross‑border shipping, billing setup and technical integrations.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Vertical Managers to deliver a seamless experience and educate sellers on new platform features.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and French.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in e‑commerce, account management, sales onboarding or a similar customer‑facing commercial role.
• Demonstrated ability to meet activation and performance targets, with solid understanding of sales funnels and pipeline management.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
