Onsite IT Support Engineer – Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer – Specialist to join our Dublin office. You will provide first‑line technical assistance to corporate users, ensuring incidents are resolved quickly and services are restored efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for corporate users onsite in the Dublin office, handling incidents and requests and ensuring timely resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults, offering guidance to users and following up on issues.
• Procure, build, and deploy end‑user devices, recording deployments in the asset register and ticketing system.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures, system guidelines and BNY policies, and manage escalations involving site technology.
• Collaborate with the wider EMEA team to support other BNY locations remotely when needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business users, educating them on available technology and capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in technical and customer support.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Technical troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Use of administrative tools, asset registers and ticketing systems.
• Device procurement, imaging, and deployment.
