Operations Engineer III - Citrix

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring an Operations Engineer III for its client services function in a hybrid office setting in Leopardstown, Dublin. You will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support the enterprise Citrix environment
• Patch Citrix servers and manage their lifecycle
• Handle incidents, problems and escalations, including root cause analysis of complex Citrix issues
• Manage Citrix-related MDP and MyDesk services
• Resolve issues escalated from EUS and other support teams
• Optimise performance and maintain platform stability
• Produce technical documentation and drive operational improvements
• Take part in change implementation and maintenance activities

Required profile

• 5+ years of Citrix administration experience
• Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, Director, Delivery Controllers, Machine Catalogues, Delivery Groups, MCSCitrix Policies, Citrix Printing and Profile Management
• Ability to troubleshoot enterprise Citrix environments
