Senior Product Manager, Italy Market Expansion
clio · Dublin
Job description
About the role
Clio, the global leader in legal AI technology, is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Italy Market Expansion. You will lead the vision, strategy and roadmap of the solutions that help Clio expand into Italy, owning the end-to-end product portfolio and customer experience there. The role balances global scale with local nuance and sits between product execution and regional partnership.
Key responsibilities
- Own the product portfolio and customer experience in Italy end to end, from first touch through onboarding, daily practice management, billing and support, and close gaps left by other teams.
- Develop a roadmap with peers under the Senior Director's strategy, own feature delivery and ensure it delivers the intended business outcome.
- Drive product readiness for Italy, including localization, multi-lingual support, regulatory requirements and market-specific workflows.
- Ship quickly: a first customer-visible change within 90 days, validating with real customers before scaling, and making decisions with imperfect information.
- Understand how Italian lawyers work, track regulations such as electronic invoicing through SdI and VAT split payment, and build relationships with practitioners, bar associations and local partners.
- Work AI-first: use AI for research, analysis, requirements and prototyping, write prompts and scripts, and verify AI output against primary sources.
- Build the business case for Italy with central Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal and Operations teams, and escalate on a stated trigger.
Required profile
- Fluency in Italian and English; English is required because Clio operates in English.
- 4-5 years of product management experience.
- Proven track record of taking multiple products or features from ideation to launch in a SaaS environment.
- Experience owning a product area end to end and influencing teams that do not report to you.
- Demonstrated expertise in localization and multi-lingual product development, including building or managing internationalization projects.
- AI-native working style with specific examples of how you use AI in your product practice.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of the Italian legal market, civil law and regulatory requirements.
- Technical fluency to discuss system design, data models and platform trade-offs with engineering.
