Operations Manager – Life Sciences

About the role

A growing Irish life sciences company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join its team in Kilrane, County Wexford. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role offers hands‑on ownership of operational performance within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations in line with GDP, GMP and EU Tissue & Cells Directive requirements.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Lead budgetary planning, financial forecasting and cost optimisation.
• Manage invoicing, accounts receivable and procurement.
• Report on financial and operational performance metrics and KPIs.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members.
• Manage key client relationships and resolve escalated issues.
• Act as operational lead during audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in an Operations Management role, ideally within life sciences, pharma or another regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Full work authorisation for Ireland.
• Ability to commute to County Wexford.
