Operator – Manufacturing & Packaging (Temporary)

About the role

Haleon is seeking a temporary Operator to support its manufacturing and packaging operations. The role involves hands‑on work with equipment, ensuring production targets are met while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, store, maintain and clean all equipment in the manufacturing area according to SOPs, batch documents and work orders.
• Achieve operational targets such as OEE, RFT, waste reduction and documentation accuracy.
• Participate in team‑based projects, audits, inspections and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide GPS training and instruction to fellow operatives as directed.
• Report departmental metrics and controls accurately.
• Maintain specialised tools and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and available.
• Conduct in‑process testing for manufacturing and packaging per approved documentation.
• Ensure Halal requirements are met where applicable.

Required profile

• Willingness to work on a temporary (fixed‑term) basis in a production environment.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
