Packaging Technician

About the role

Catalyx is looking for a Packaging Technician to join its on‑site team at a customer location in Cork. You will work under the guidance of a Team Leader or Packaging Supervisor to ensure the safe and compliant manufacturing and packaging of regulated products.

Key responsibilities

• Follow written SOPs, Master Batch Records and cGMP guidelines while performing routine packaging tasks.
• Set up and operate packaging line equipment such as labellers, cartoners and printers.
• Perform check‑weighing of multi‑unit cartons and manage ERP/MES transactions.
• Inspect clinical trial material and components, reporting any variance to the FSP Manager.
• Comply with all safety procedures and deliver on agreed KPIs and metrics.
• Support other packaging technicians and take on additional duties as requested.

Required profile

• Previous GMP and packaging experience.
• Relevant Level 6 qualification.
• Familiarity with SOPs and Master Batch Records.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision and strong attention to detail.
• Positive, can‑do attitude toward customer delivery.

Required skills

• Operation of packaging line equipment (labellers, cartoners, printers).
• Use of ERP/MES systems for transaction processing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
