Part‑time Legal Counsel – Cork

About the role

Our client, a leading Irish‑headquartered manufacturing and R&D group, is seeking a part‑time Legal Counsel based in Cork. The role offers flexibility while providing exposure to high‑profile strategic projects and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions and other strategic corporate transactions.
• Support intellectual property matters, including protection and management of key assets.
• Assist with company secretarial duties and corporate governance requirements across the group.
• Provide pragmatic commercial legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with external legal advisers as required.

Required profile

• Irish‑qualified lawyer with strong commercial judgement.
• Ability to operate independently within a business environment.
• Generalist commercial experience, particularly in M&A and corporate matters.
• Typically 5‑7 years post‑qualification experience, though other seniority levels will be considered.
