PCB Assembly Operator

About the role

Moog is seeking a dedicated Operator to join its PCB Production team at the Carrigaline facility in Ireland. The role supports normal production activities, ensuring high‑quality assembly of printed circuit boards and related mechanical hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning, and baking equipment according to defined procedures.
• Prepare components for manual assembly and apply adhesives or conformal coatings as required.
• Use torque tools and follow IPC‑7711/IPC‑7721 and IPC‑J standards for fastener assembly.
• Perform manual PCB and hardware assembly, inspection, rework, and documentation.
• Set up equipment, carry out process measurements, and conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Enter work orders and production data in the ERP system.
• Observe safety, anti‑static, and housekeeping requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronic or PCB assembly environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and production targets.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Positive, flexible attitude with solid interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC‑7711/IPC‑7721 and IPC‑J standards.
• Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
• Experience using an ERP system for work order processing.
