PE and Science Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

Stratford College is seeking a dedicated PE and Science Teacher to join its secondary school team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons in both Physical Education and a Science discipline, contributing to the school’s inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality PE and Science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic and physical development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to uphold school values and standards.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, sports events and school community initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified and recognised by the Teaching Council to teach Physical Education and a Science subject.
• Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and experienced educators are encouraged to apply.
• Commitment to fostering critical thinking, creativity and personal growth in students.
