Pharmacy Account Manager – Hospital Pharmacy Sales

About the role

Mediteq is seeking a Pharmacy Account Manager to lead product and business development within hospital pharmacy settings across the Leinster region. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will act as the primary field contact, driving sales of our innovative pharmaceutical portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and achieve sales targets for the pharmacy portfolio.
• Provide technical and clinical advice, training, and education on safe product use.
• Maintain a live pipeline of new business opportunities and monitor delivery.
• Stay informed on product developments and market changes.
• Build long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers through education and clinical value delivery.
• Represent Mediteq at national and international conferences, workshops, and study days.
• Ensure ethical representation of the company and manage time effectively across a large territory.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hospital sales experience in a pharmacy setting, or 2 years as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician with commercial acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or pharmaceutical technician diploma is desirable.
• Strong ability to build rapport with clinical decision‑makers.
• Excellent presentation skills and confidence in discussing complex technical/clinical information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines and regulatory bodies (HPRA, EMA).
• Understanding of compliance and quality assurance standards (GMP, GDP).
