Platform Architect

About the role

TestReach is seeking a Platform Architect to define and evolve the technical architecture of its high‑stakes online assessment platform. You will ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and resilient while aligning with long‑term business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target architecture, establishing principles, standards, and design patterns.
• Align technical direction with product strategy and contribute to the long‑term roadmap.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks affecting scalability or security.
• Lead decisions on performance, resilience, disaster recovery, and security‑by‑design.
• Review and approve major technical designs, guiding engineering teams through complex challenges.
• Promote consistency in standards, documentation, and code quality while managing technical debt.
• Direct cloud and infrastructure architecture, ensuring best practices in CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and automation.
• Define data architecture standards, support integration for enterprise clients, and ensure secure API design.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical expertise with a proven ability to influence distributed engineering teams.
• Experience delivering high‑volume, high‑availability platforms in a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate risks, trade‑offs, and long‑term sustainability.
